This is a whopper of a Triceratops tooth, complete with root. Based upon the shape of the tooth it is most likely from
the left maxilla (upper jaw). Museum quality tooth.

Triceratops, like all dinosaurs would replace their teeth as they wore down. Many of our dig sites contain these nice
pieces of Cretaceous history. We have many fair to good quality shed teeth, most without roots in this size/class range.

Worn, shed, Edmontosaurus teeth are also quite common in the river channel gravels of the late Cretaceous. Most of these
teeth are under 0.5cm in height.

The rivers of the Late Cretaceous were full of both alligators and crocodiles. These crocodile teeth are about the average
size and quality for our quarries. They are tenatively identified as Leidysuchus.
