Collections Management and Appraisals.
Let's say you need to get an Insurance estimate on the value of your small paleontology collection but have no idea where to start. Or, your collections database is outdated and in a state of chaos. We can identify your fossils, offer advice and technical assistance, and evaluate your collections current worth. Docent Training.
Guided tours are one of the best ways to bring museum visitors into the fold. Docents have to be knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining. They must know the subject and the museum like the back of their hand. Sending young kids out to guide a tour unprepared and untrained is hazardous to your museums reputation. Let us come in over a weekend and give them a few pointers on what to say and what not to say on a tour. We can go over your entire tour plan, write and plan a tour for you, and offer the best advice on how to relay that info to your guests.
